Our approach

A useful signal
should stand up to scrutiny.

Physical intelligence starts with what changed. Commercial intelligence asks why it matters, what supports that interpretation and what still needs checking.

Three layers of a responsible record

Observation

Describe the underlying fact and its source. A document reports an approval. An image shows a structure. A site visit records visible activity. Preserve the date and avoid adding a conclusion that the source does not support.

Interpretation

Explain what the evidence may mean for the project and supplier. An added structure could suggest expansion; a stage might imply a useful selling window. Keep assumptions, alternative explanations and uncertainty visible.

Verification

Check the details that matter before a sales action. This can include project identity, current activity, the responsible organisation and procurement timing. Record who checked, when and against which source.

The product we intend to build

We plan to combine public project information, physical-world signals, geospatial context, company enrichment and AI-assisted prioritisation. Satellite imagery and change detection are potential inputs, alongside human research and verification.

Our initial work is to learn which intelligence actually changes a buyer’s decisions. We will define a pilot around a territory, a supplier category and a practical review process before building a detection engine.

What is available today

This site explains the proposed workflow and collects early-access requests. The interactive preview uses fictional projects and a schematic map. Its dates, stages and priorities are examples, not observations of real sites.

There is no live nationwide monitoring service, verified contact inventory, automated material forecast or production CRM integration available through this website. Pilot scope, coverage and delivery will be agreed directly with participating teams.

How we will evaluate usefulness

  • Does a record identify a relevant project the customer did not already know?
  • Are the location, identity and stage supported by recent evidence?
  • Can the sales team identify a specific, appropriate next action?
  • Do updates arrive at a useful frequency and justify their cost?
  • Can mistakes be traced, corrected and learned from?

Aggregate demand metrics will require a clear coverage baseline. A count without a denominator, a stage distribution from an incomplete sample or a forecast without validation can mislead. We will leave those views empty until there is evidence to support them.

Built to work with existing sources

Project databases, field teams, dealers, public records and tenders already play important roles. The goal is to find useful additional context and discovery, measured against what a team already has.
